Martin Rümemlein form Flensburg Germany is active through his engagement as former youth board member of the BSSSC and Baltic Sea Youth Platform member. In the past he has initiated the Baltic sea youth camp and worked on the establishment of the Baltic Sea Youth Platform. The vision of the Baltic Sea Youth Camp was to create a camp which will work on a common youth declaration with the contributions of young people from different regional organizations and living in the region. Since the first youth camp the first Baltic Sea Youth declaration was presented at the 10th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in Gdansk the and the youth platform has been successfully run by former youth camp participant Aline Mayr. Before his engagement in the Baltic Sea Region he has been long time active as the head of the state student board of vocational schools in Schleswig-Holstein. For his bachelor's degree he studied economics and business administration and currently continues with a master in Innovation management at the Sino-Danish-Center with a double degree between Aalborg University and the University Chinese Academy of the Sciences. During the past years he has lived in Germany, the USA, China, and the US.
